Going to be off line for a few days folks

Postby Steve Bildermann » Tue Oct 15, 2002 8:36 am

My wife just broke the terribly good news that do to my rather erratic behavious these past few days 'they' (who the fuck are they) feel I should return to my previous abode - i.e. the boobyhatch for a 'spell' (now how long is a spell) I actually agree with her ho hum.

Remember that old song 'they are coming to take me away....."

Just can't seem to get it out of my mind not to worry though I expect my ole buddy Dr. Mura and his blue DUH pills will be able to take care of that 8O

See you later :D

Hello. This is Chisato, Steve's wife writing. Please excuse my bad English.

I wanted to thank you all and especially the several kind members of this forum for emailing Steve with their best regards since he was hospitalized today. I printed out each email and showed them to him and he was very happy to read them.

Also a very big thank you to one member (who does not want me to write his name) who actually drove over from Osaka to the hospital to see Steve this evening. We enjoyed his visit very much. Especially the when he played his guitar for the nurses.

As you know Steve is not well mentally and of course I am unhappy about that but his physical condition is fine. He sends his best wishes.

The doctor says that he will be able to come home fairly soon (maybe next week) so I am sure he will be back here then.

Thank you all.

Chisato Mishima

From Chisato. 9:00 Pm

Thank you - Thank you - Thank you. Every message you have posted is a kind thought and a powerful help to Steve. I have read each one to him.

His day was not so good. My mother and I have been at the hospital all day. We must now hope that he will respond to treatment he received and we will know that by Saturday.

Even the veteran nurses who have great experience in these matters say Steve is unusually tough and does not complain. When possible he shows his good spirit. He even defeated both of his doctors at playing GO this morning - he said the other patients were too easy to beat because they are all crazy <smile>

I will try to report to you all on Saturday.

Again from Steve, my mother and I our deepest thank you.
