MDN: Singer's son busted for helping 2 illegal foreign women work at bar
Rumihiko Haida, 50, is accused of violating the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Law. Haida, the eldest son of the late singer Katsuhiko Haida, admitted to the allegations during questioning.
Haida introduced two 21-year-old women from the Czech Republic to a bar in the Kabukicho entertainment district of Shinjuku-ku to work as hostesses in February this year even though he knew that they had only short-term visas, investigators said on Tuesday.
Although the 2 girls are under indictment too, it does seem as if the police are getting better at going after the guys who employ them.
