Koizumi's Aide Linked to Crime Syndicate

The other day some reporters from Friday magazine came to me with photographic evidence showing that Kiyoshi Takeuchi, the man who ran Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi's election committee for decades, was a member of the Inagawa crime syndicate. They wanted the photographs held for safe keeping.
Friday has a brave team of reporters who have risked their lives to demonstrate, with evidence that would stand up in court, links between Japan's current Prime Minister and a yakuza crime syndicate.

I've read Mario Puzo's "The Godfather" and I think the movie series is MUCH better. As far as the "Godfather Returns" goes I suspect it won't harm Puzo's work.
Not often but sometimes, "extension" novels are just great like "The Seven Percent Solution" by Nicholas Meyer'. Meyer's "rediscovered" Sherlock Holmes adventure was great a a book and themovie was ok. That said, I'd hate to see "The Godmother" movie staring and directed by Sophia Coppola.

...I doubt that they'll make this into a movie. I mean, it just wouldn't be the same without Brando, Pacino, Robert Duvall, Diane Keaton, etc. But 'Who knows that?' :
