I hope the tat on the guy on the right means something in Chinese because:
a) one of the characters is written sideways
b) if it is supposed to have any meaning in Japanese, the only possible reading I can decipher is "Tangi (a name) left (assuming that's what the otherwise unused character at the bottom is).

The little fella, meanwhile, has a tat either begging for power or saying he's a power tree.

These guys remind me of Dirk Diggler from "Boogie Nights" (for their cheesy kung fu poses rather than any anatomical resemblance)

At first I thought it was written sideways too... But it is written in the correct orientation if you look at the individual "strokes". It just isn't an existing character!! Well, not in Japanese at least... Or maybe the tatooist got the orientation confused but the appearance of the strokes mostly correct. The compound is still nonsensical though.

I wonder what they think it means?
