Oh dear. No arts in the schools?

They're running public service ads here in the US to drum up support for arts programs in the schools, dramatizing what happens without arts programs. In one scene, a little girl asks her dad to read her a bedtime story, and says "read this one again, daddy" and hands him a thick leather-bound tome labeled "US Tax Code."

If you give the crayon-set and few paper to your child, she will start drawing soon, but It very difficult stop her.

If you need some advice to your child, 'you had better to look subject more.'

If I can advice to you, art is no rules.
you play and draw together, she everytime happy than any other teachers.

Another Art Teacher position soon to be vacant

Art teacher threatens pupil at knifepoint for not knowing colors
KAIMON, Kagoshima -- A teacher at a public junior high school here has come under fire for threatening to slash a student with a paper cutter after he failed to respond quickly enough when asked during class about his favorite color, it was learned Saturday...
...The incident occurred during an art class on the morning of April 13. The 39-year-old teacher asked first-year students about colors that they knew. A boy could not immediately give a reply apparently because many of his classmates had already cited most of the major colors. The teacher took out a paper cutter and pointed it at the student saying, "I'll slash you if you can't answer." ...more...
