"Osaka Elegy" is from the 30s so it ought to be a great chance to see a decent print. I think the other are late 40s/50s films that are in better shape.
"Osaka Elegy" ("Naniwa Elegy")also has one of the very first appearances by Takashi Shimura who, along with Mifune, was Kurosawa's muse. He appears in "Scandal" too. As does Shirley Yamaguchi who also appeared in Sam Fuller's "House of Bamboo" - a very good film looking at the post-war black market.
Shirley Yamaguchi was born in Manchuria. Although both parents were Japanese, she gets credited as "Li Hsiang-lan" in some of her J-flicks. Strange.
Haven't seen Yellow Crow. I'd be interested to hear about it.
