Huh? Are you saying that the guy who wrote the Japan Times article that cites FG and a couple of other websites has registered as an FG member for the purpose of trolling the site? Which posts are his?

I searched everything. The only post that is strange enough: discrete sex options. Who does such a first post ? To be honest, when I watched it first I was quite embarrassed about this rigoros introduction and how everybody was just absorbed. Worked like a magnet!. This can't be coincidence. Two days before the article is published? nampa 666 Tony is from the buiz  Title, screen name, everything tries to gain attention. And the most interesting, he didn't come back after the first replies. He had enough good replies? Didn't think so. Ass Kissinger was the first one to give everybody a break. If you look at his introduction from this new view, it totally makes sense. And after that I recommend to read his Article. I think it's the same person. He might be watching now  :ninja2:

I think you've made a colossal leap of logic. What you're saying implies that any two random events are related just because of their proximity in time.

There's no proof that nampa666 and the JT writer are the same people. The timing of the article could just as well be attributed to coincidence.

By the way, I think nampa666's thread was an entertaining read! :D

Maybe you're right. I think this page is not an usual entertaining read. Too many very conscious and selfaware people in here. That is what I like about it. and of course its power. To write about this page like JT did is ill- information from my point of view. Too many good topics, too many good posters on this board. Should make a newspaper jealous :D :twisted:Therefore I spent hours here. I really don't care whether there are posters like discrete sex options on this board or not. People may discuss what they want. To me nearly any topic is interesting from a certain point. There weren't such topics as long as I am posting here. at least I haven't seen any. Therefore mere coincidence sounds strange to me. What makes both people identical for me is not the coincidence but the similar character they both present in their writings. you adress people in different styles, I talk to kamome in another way than to taro.

You have seen some of my posts. In the following letter I adressed the JT. Do you agree that it's a shame for FG to be skipped that way I skipped it when I was writing it? What does this letter tell you about my personality and - more important- about my reasons to join FG? Did I have the right to neglect my FG identity in that letter?

THE ZEIT GIST

Gaijin in cyberspace
Japanophiles and phobes thrive on the Net, writes Tony
McNicol

Dear Tony McNicol

thank you for the insight you gave to those webpages.
It was amazing how you connected Zeit gist
and Salman Rushdie's words, but between those two
lines I couldnt find gist at all.
You should have chosen another topic with more
relevance, since reporting is, in contrary to users of
chat groups, your payed profession. Many of the posts
in the mentioned web pages are quoting the Japan Times as an
highly established paper.

In my opinion it is filling space that could have been
used more wisely to contribute to better communication
between Japanese and foreigners and open the view
on Japan to foreigners- a high percentage of The Japan
Times readers might appreciate it. You might be even quoted.

Is that vir-jin? I would say, if that is vir-jin, she's an ignorant conservative asshole. agree? Remember? I adressed the Japan Time's image that I have. we will never get to know wheather those two persons are the same. But my consciousness and instinct will be wide awake- more than they were before.
