Personally I don't spend my time worrying about things like that. If it hits I will deal with it then.

I only had to think of it once. Now it just sits in my bag underneath all of the other trappings that I actually use on a daily basis.

You are packing it around all the time, and I would imagine checking the batteries at least once in awhile.

To each their own of course... I would sooner focus on more immediate issues.

And the other stuff? The flashlight batteries need to be checked out, and the pokey won't be too tasty after a few months in the bag.

Dunno...Guess if I was going to take precautions it would be a bit more concrete.

I think more along the lines of preparing ways to get *out* of Osaka if the shit really hits the fan here. Or at least get my family out.

(About shelf life, the Pokey will be a melted gooey mess after one hot summer day.)

i use a backpack when im going to uni - simply because it is pratical, comfortable, and about the only way i can carry that much crap. But whenever possible i will use a stylish handbag or shoulder bag. You do sorta look dorky shopping in a department store with a backpack on.

Deadly serious.. I have so many pairs of shoes.. appropriate one for the appropriate occassion. I would never be caught dead wearing high heels at a camp site nor would I wear timberland walking boots at the office.

Skirts need different shoes to jeans etc etc. Plus need evening shoes for glamour events and of course cute sandles for summer dresses....

So with all these shoes one needs to have many handbags as well as you can't use the same one for all occassions.. It is tough and expensive work being a girl but there is nothing more satisfying than wearing a new pair of funky shoes.

Who said I wasn't feminine!!!!

I can confirm the number of shoes GG owns. In fact we call her "Little Imelda" in our circle.

As to the number of lacy T-backs I'm not sure as I haven't rummaged through her underwear drawer yet.

(BTW honey did you book us in at the Beauty Parlour tomorrow?)

Oh and I wear t-backs (g-strings, thongs - whatever you call them) everyday. No granny undies for me!! Just in case people were wondering.

You guys (gals!) crack me up!

I know lots of women love a 2-hour beauty salon trip... If it takes more than 20 minutes for me at the barber I'm pissed off! ;) Everyone has different priorities though, and different pleasures.

[quote="FG Lurker"]You guys (gals!) crack me up!

There is nothing better than a cute young boy blowdrying ones hair - I have waist length hair so it is a chore to do it myself. My arms get tired from holding the hair-dryer behind my head for so long.

A cut and colour and blowdry usually takes about three hours but it is well worth it. They are always so clean and shiney with up to date magazines to read. It is relaxing just to be away from the office and be pampered. It is expensive but hey, it is well worth it.

Don't get me started on how great it is to go for a pedicure with the girls on a saturday morning.. it is a great time to chat and be pampered. I love summer as it is the time to break out the cute sandles and show off one's feet.

It entirely depends on what I am doing.

Having everything hanging down can be very uncomfortable at times -- especially if I am biking or doing any sort of quick movements briefs are far more comfortable.

Under my suit I wear boxers though.

trunk briefs

I kinda compromise between boxers and briefs by wearing trunk briefs.

Keeps everything in place, but not too tight. :D

There is nothing more painful than crushing a ball... Makes me cringe just thinking about it.

Most of my exercise these days is from biking. Keeping everything tucked up and out of the way makes that a lot more of a pleasant experience.
