First of all, it's not porn; she's not nude. Second, I doubt she's only eleven. If she was, I'd think her agent and photographer would be in hot water considering all the negative international press Japan gets for human trafficking and child porn.

Should reporters be censored from giving details in real child porn cases? They're essentially exploiting the exploited; more details equal more viewers...

By that definition the guys who trade in kiddy porn are not guilty...and that is not something I can agree with (to put it very mildly).

As for reporting on a subject: Reporting on "real child porn" (as you put it) is not the same as passing along the images themselves...Or do you think it is?

Sadly,This kind of thing happened in the U.S way back in 1980. To get her ten year old daughter's modeling career jumpstarted, a woman had a photographer take provocative photos of her daughter, one of them was with the girl topless, with only her ams covering her chest. Among all the many things I've seen in Japan, no matter how weird, I always managed to find a way to get over the cultural gap and get into it, or at least accept it. But the ONE thing that still freaks me out about Japan is the way little girls are treated.

You can walk to any newsstand, convenience store and find a magazine with bikini wearing 10-14 year old girls. I'm sorry, but that's just not right. Does the girl in this thread look good? I just don't understand how these kinds of magazines and photo books are still being allowed in Japan, often on public display no less.
