If here means Hiroshima. Yes I did. I was teaching in a 9th story apartment in Matsuayama and something definitely did happen.

The Epicenter seems to be off the coast of southern Ehime very close to the Ikata Nucleur Power Plant. I expect the radiation to be here any moment.

Has anyone else heard about the 'predicted' earthquake in Tokyo this week? My g/f got a msg on her mobile phone but we are not sure if it is a hoax or not? It's center was said to be Shinagawa.

I was offering to sell you the land under a bridge, or perhaps the bridge itself. How about the Akashi Ohashi? The views are very nice! ;)

As BP just wrote above, meaningful earthquake prediction does not exist.

Oh OK then. Thanks for clearing that up :)

The message basically said that sometime between Fri 27th May and Fri the 3rd June there may be a 8.0 quake. It said if it doesn't happen between this time, then it's OK. It was from Life Survial to a friend, to a friend, to my g/f I think....

I have only been here a little while so I don't know all such things yet :)

Well, at least one of us will be correct.

 That's cheating! It's not a prediction anymore when you have a 100% chance of being correct.

(Heh, that basically disqualifies my own "prediction" above though.)

Centre in Chiba - the tip of it, 50 kms under.

They say it was a 2 in Tokyo - shook the hell of us down in Kanagawa but. Most places in Kanto is registered 4 or 3.

Bloody weird shaking movement though.

PS Taro you had a decent bath yet dirty boy?
