Punk Rock Karaoke

Pitchforkmedia: Punk Rock Karaoke
Karaoke can be sacrilegious: it allows the heathen to become a false idol for five minutes. But what fun is mystification? Consider Punk Rock Karaoke. PRK revolves around a touring cast of punk vets who act as a 50+ song jukebox of punk classics that audience members jump onstage to sing (oh, after signing a legal wavier authorizing their videotaped performances to be sold whenever the PRK producers feel like it)...Since that night, I no longer take seriously the question: "What is Punk?"

I've done it.

The Damned's "New Rose" was my choice.
