Osaka police have apprehended a Hungarian national and a Slovak national on suspicion of being part of a group responsible for spraying graffiti on a number of railway cars in around six separate incidents. In particular, the two men are accused of breaking into the Midosuji line at Shin Osaka Station in early September and tagging two cars (pictured above). Police say they found around thirty spray cans in lodgings the two were using in Nishinari ward. An Asahi report says that one of the men has denied any involvement. Police believe that a third man was also involved and that the group intended to leave the country next week. The authorities are now trying to retrace their movements to connect them with other incidents around the country. The group is thought to be part of a group of graffiti artists who travel around the world to leave their mark on city transport networks. (Asahi report here)
