I usually nod and smile. I've been here over five years.

On the train I'm real friendly to other FGs. Hell, I'll sit on your lap if you're in the Silver Seat.

As I said on the "other" thread the common complaint is the gaijin go out of their way to ignore each other. See "Smile when you see another foreigner" from Metropolis/japantoday.com "Tokyo Rants & Raves."

I run!

Postby Shibuya Me » Tue Sep 09, 2003 5:26 pm

:D

I think 99.9% of all gaijins ( not including me) are just nuts!

Don't take this personal, I am a gaijin. The fact is, I have
never met a gaijin who is normal. White, black, gray, blue, silver,
any color! Gaijins are just crazy in Japan! It must be something in
the water!

You got to agree! Don't you? Have you met a normal gaijin in Japan? I mean, normal?

Anyway, I run because most gaijins here are just strange. ( but I am not strange at all!) I know you will all say I am...but that is just not true! :fresse: Don't you all have stories about the day you first landed in Japan, met a fellow gaijin...then that other gaijin did or said something just really odd, strange, off, not normal, and damn f*cked up?

Show me a normal gaijin in Japan and I will buy everyone on
this site a beer, a pizza, and a lotto ticket! :!:

Show me the gaijin! :suspect:

Ist funny how the crazies never seem to notice that they are the crazy ones. You actualy run? is that the same kind of run that old japanes men do when they see a free seat. or the same kind of run off the train to the escalator and sand still. or is it the office lady runing in circles for no apparent reason. Running away from gaijins thats a whole bag of crazy. IMHO :P

Yes! I run fast!

Postby Shibuya Me » Tue Sep 09, 2003 5:38 pm

I ageee, sounds crazy!

But I met some real strange ones!

I may look crazy, and I may seem crazy....
but the fact is....I run! And fast! Like the wind!

Tell me you and everyone on this site is normal?!

I have friends, but they are all very distant. I just talk
on the phone, email, whatever...but meet anywhere?!

NO WAY!

Just kidding...I just wanted to get a rise out of anyone.

But I do think that many people in Japan have gone
crazy being gaijin and braindead after no contact with
the outside world!

You have to agree!

VW even admitted as such in this commercial.

And if you need further proof, just take a look at what the foglights look like in the dark:

Okay...I said it before!

Postby Shibuya Me » Thu Sep 11, 2003 11:17 am

:D

One reason I came to Japan was to start my own business pertaining to the Japanese and American love for each others products. I did very well. I have been here for about 5 some odd years. I have yet to meet a well rounded caucasion person. Someone who does not have a chip on their shoulder and tries one upmanship just to try to seem smart.

Now dont get me wrong, I feel I am turning a bit strange myself. Hence, the reason I want to and am planning my return back to my home country. And very soon! :P

I admit that I have acted a bit strange being that I am in Japan surrounded by people to either do like me a bit, or around people who would rather see me rot in hell....just because I am from another country.

I wonder if anyone else can admit there is a problem with staying in Japan for a long time ( say past 5 years!). 8O

I am asking for your insight. :?:

Flammers, just go away. I will just ignore you and wont buy you any Christmas gifts this year...! :D

This is a forum, right? So please give me your thoughts....please.

Your typical gaijin is fucked. I've seen gaijin go vandalism crazy, turn into alcoholics, start having ridiculously unsafe sex, get into fights, have emotional breakdowns, get fired, turn totally paranoid, become unable to sleep, piss on plastic trees in restaurants, turn into a racist fuck, accept misogyny as normal, gain more than 20kgs, start chain-smoking, steal bicycles, scream obscentities at sales people, alienate fucking everybody and go bald. And that's just when I look in the mirror.

I know 2 people that cam here on the same date as me. Since I have come to Japan I have lost 4 pounds every 2 weeks. Food wise got much healtier but drasticaly increased how much I drink. Mind you its still pretty hard to get drunk on a few chu-hi's and umeshu's. one of my friends on the other hand keeps on putting up weight, eats jankonabi(that sumo stew) and has actualy lost hair. the other guy I know is now a raging alco and gets a bit nasty as the night progresses. Its unfortunate that you have had all the bad of about 3 people lol...

The word is "chanko nabe". And no wonder he's putting on weight, if he's eating the sumo stew.

I also started to consume more alcohol when I came to Japan than I ever did in college. And I think the water and pollution here is bad for the skin.

I haven't, but I looked it up and it seems pretty funny, sort of in the theme of Dilbert, which I like. Vandalism would be a good way to get back at a company anonymously. My last bit of vandalism was last year during uni student elections. They have must of spent days making those huge banners before the rightwing student politicians shredded them on the night before election week started......

Oh yeah, 'da athlete's foot. From either walking around too often barefoot, or from walking from train station to train station in lace-up shoes in the heat of August.
