girls :
The skirt's length should go past the knee.

I doubt if that rule is inforced in the oyajis class cough cough.

It's alright to wear gym clothes during the period right after physical education class.

The oyaji teacher loves burama so its ok.

pantyhose: beige, socks, mostly white, avoid loose pantyhose.

Loose socks? need i say more.

Number plate must be put on one's chest.

Brummm Brummm ehehehheh crash ' did you get the number plate.

Hairstyle should be natural, not fashionable and also should not hinder study and exercise. Student-like hair is acceptable.

I hate thoes student hippy types. FLowers in their hair and all...

Damb this site is too teh funny.

Look at this concerning the students bicycle:

Basket
Rear basket should be attached.
Stand
Double stand is allowed, one sided is not.
Front basket
Front basket should be attached.

Fucking fascists! What the fuck does their bike have to do anything?

When riding a bicycle, the following promises will be made:

This is one rule I agree with. I'll take some photos of "student desk art" next time I bring my camera to school.

It's all about control...

Keep the J-kiddies in check with tight rules, and walah, they'll make great controllable workers.

Sometimes I think about that. I would never put-up with what I put-up with in high school now-a-days. I know a lot of people really live that kind of fascist life style sitting in the office all day like some kind of punishment but ever since I started college I've always been able to find jobs where I have a relatively high amount of freedom. To tell the truth I never worked a real 9 to 5 (which I know is really an 8 to 6). I never worked a job with a strict dress code. I've always quit any job that became a pain. I never once let a boss disrespect me.

I think that is the way we all should live. Power to the proletariat. I think if you've got to stand for something or you will fall for anything. You've got to be your own man, not a puppet on strings.

:P

I'm with you on the disrespecting shit.. I don't cop to that at all.. I have no qualms walking off any job and telling them to suck my ballz while I go..

I don't mind the 9-5... but I do mind the mindless mind-boggling BS that most J-jobs entail.

Amen to that. Never lose your dignity or self-esteem, otherwise all is lost.

My day job is working in the office of a medium size manufacturing concern so I know first-hand what I'm talking about when I discuss blue collar workers. (When things go haywire, I pitch in and get my hands dirty too) Not hard to see why Japan forged ahead while it did - on the sweat, blood and tears of the working class, and the fact that most unions here are a joke if they exist in the first place (At the same time the unions often have too much power back home)

Same thing is being repeated in China. Be interesting to see how far they go now that the world trade rules are being re-written.

Anyway, I have my own little niche at work. The management know just how far they can go.

Back to the original post, the Ministry of Education doesn't really seem concerned much with student's education or welfare as opposed to fulfilling their own little agendas. Not surprising that a lot of teachers are left wing and in almost constant protest to whatever the MOE do.

Damn, I forgot all about that. I'll take care of it. Really, I will.

No bloomers here as we're a private, after-school institute and don't have uniforms. Even if we did, you wouldn't be getting those pics from me.

I guess here busy with the students education and life. Posting bloomers pix would be a "privacy" issue in Japan. I'm suprised nobody in his school has found his tell-all website.

I don't think any of the kids know about FG, or the ESL board I post on. Only one person at work knows my handle on that board, and I'm careful never to mention any identifiable names (school, neighborhood, students, teachers, etc.).

I'm sure it'd make for an interesting class if any of the kids ever found it though. "Teacher, what does 'Motherfucking Abba?!?' mean?"

No, we don't need to go there.
