mercutio - time to say goodbye.... for a while

Postby mercutio » Tue Jul 27, 2004 2:23 pm

Well guys... I'm outta here. I am about to become a state-side FG again. I have been accepted to the full-time MBA program at SMU in Texas and been given a nice big scholarship, so its time to leave Japan for a while.

I plan to get my MBA in finance and specialize in doing investment finance and business development between Japan, China and the US. So I'll be back around...buts it going to be a while. Thanks to everyone who has been so helpfull while I was here, especially Taro and Gomigirl. You both made life easier for me here and were just plain nice to be around.

Ill be leaving on Aug 14th and frantically getting my stuff together up until then but maybe we can find a time to get together for a few libations

Oh and if anyone is interested in buying a nice motorcycle...go here

hehe! thanks! Make no mistake, it has occurred to me that it might be nice to be around the college girls again but I hardly think Ill have time to slack. Its a rigorous MBA program plus I have commited to study Chinese as at the same tmie so I can be functionally trilingual in Japanese, Chinese and English by the time I'm done with the MBA.

Mercutio... I can't believe you are leaving.
Haven't seen you for ages but definitely have to catch up before you take off.

Is this why your blog is not being updated - or are you not letting non LJ peeps access? I have no desire to get a LJ so I will have to imagine what you are up to.

My blog will be up soon (I hope) so you will be able to get your fix of Tokyo via my keitai snaps and movies.

Mercutio,

I've been following your blog and your posts for quite some time as I've lurked in the shadows on FG and also on LJ.

I just want to thank you for the wealth of information that you have freely shared regarding your experience in Japan, and I wish you the best of luck with your new endevor - I'm sure that you'll be successful.

Take care and good luck!

Asahi Breweries toasts record profits

MDN wrote:Asahi Breweries Ltd., maker of the country's best-selling beer, is looking at a mid-term operating profit of 36.1 billion yen, 31.3 percent more than forecast and the greatest interim profit in the company's history, brewery officials said ...

Taro can you please go into detail about this "effect"? Does this effect include girls who you have not made it with before? Soooo, leaving Japan really is the best part of being there.
