Ecstasy in Japan may be toxic: Israel

'Let's be careful out there..'.. GJPills containing the synthetic narcotic Ecstasy and containing a lethal toxin may be circulating in Japan, an Israeli police official in charge of drug investigations told the Israel Broadcasting Authority on Thursday.
The official said four smugglers, three Japanese and an Israeli, were arrested by Dutch police acting on a tip from Israeli police. They seized 50,000 Ecstasy pills, 3,000 of which contained the same poison as the defoliants used by the U.S. military during the Vietnam War.
The group was smuggling the pills into Japan, Israel and Thailand, the official said. He did not mention the name of the poison, but the defoliants contain dioxin, and the pills containing the toxin have the same appearance as those that do not, the official said.
