I am wholeheartedly sure that Major Nakagawa was killed by CIA. Major Nakagawa and Tanaka Kakuei were representative politicians of independence(from America) school. So he was done. At least Minor Nakgawa believed so. And this was very the reason why Minor Nakagawa became alcohol addiction.

For those who knew or knew about Shoichi Nakagawa before his embarrassing drunken episodes, that was the apparent tragedy and waste of it all.

Supposedly, he was one of the more knowledgeable and competent conservative Japanese politician who actually had a strong handle on issues of economics and finance - unlike many of his peers or successors.
