No. There are two types of pancreatic cancer. One -the one you mention has a very low survival rate, and the rarer type which effects about 10% of all patients and has a very reasonable survival rate if operated on at an early stage. Here is a good reference if you want to go through the details.

I tried....believe me I did. They can't seem to wrap their heads around them being two separate concepts. (yet their LV bags, Brand name clothes, etc. is indication enough as to how committed they are to their "beliefs")
