Those only bother me when they're behind me...natural inclination to pull over and let the emergency vehicle pass. (how retarded must they look to deaf individuals) The road signs, flashing lights, monitors and crazy spaghetti intersections where you can turn left, left, right, right, or very right are what send me into driving seizures.

But did you notice that on ambulances and firetrucks there are often at least 3 unsynchronised blinking patterns. The rotary beacon that blink whenever they want the high position strobes, the low position strobes (radiator grill, rear bumpers) and sometimes also the wig-wag... all doing their stuff without any coherence...


MEANWHILE those litteral monsters that are the multi axle 30 tons+ self propelled cranes usually don't even carry a proper yellow beacon while in nearly any other country their require an opening and closing escort with warning vehicles...

I can't find the link but my assistant was telling me that one of the victims is the wife of an Australian FG. She is apparently in ICU and not sure if she will recover.
