I am however disturbed to discover that there is Tojo blood in the Imperial line. Maybe you are thinking of three Prime Ministers after Tojo's resignation on the fall of Saipan: Prince Naruhiko Higashikuni, and his 54 day reign in the top political office. He was a great uncle of the Emperor, in the way of imperial bloodlines great uncle many times over. As a postwar PM he was not executed, and died in 1990 at the age of 102.

Tojo was just an unlucky guy. when WW2 started, accidentally unluckily his turn came as a prime minister. no more than it. he was not a dictator and also didnt have that power equivalent to Hitler and Mussolini. and he even saved approx 20000 jewish, who surged the border of manchuria empire to seek refuge, when he was a chief of Kanto army in china. GHQ made him shoulder all of evil images of empire japan, instead of executing damn hirohito. i cannot help but taking pity on Hideki.
