"I've seen old gentlemen sitting playing the banjo in a back room of a pub in the Yorkshire Dales, the Darkness selling out Brixton Academy, and everything in between. I actually tend to like these little restaurant things, 50, 60 people watching a couple of musicians performing incredibly well. One of the great joys of it is the genuine intimacy that people can experience with music."
