Mr Kobayashi: First, I experienced a sort of overpowering feeling whenever I was in the room with foreigners, not to mention a powerful body odor coming from them. I don't know whether it was a sweat from the heat or a cold sweat, but I remember I was sweating whenever they were around.

Hey TFG, nice to see you're still with us. I always thought you had a good chance of beating the odds, and it looks like you've done just that, so far.
You will forgive me, I hope, when I admit that find it pleasantly ironic that you are the only person to post in the "Choose your own fucked adventure" thread.
Anyway, back to the game - I've already decided the whole storyline in advance, complete with multiple divergent stories, but since there was only one player, it becomes much simpler.
I'll write the next progression soon.

Sorry, AMDG, this looked like a long post so I thought I'd read it later. When I glanced at it first off, I thought you must be talking about someone else's story rather than your own. Now I've bothered to read it, the penny has dropped.
Since you have obviously done a lot of work putting together profiles of the guests at the tea ceremony, I think the option I choose is to tell Takashi to pay the police. After all, that ought to kick the story along

Although I chose my own fucked adventure the day I decided to come here in the first place. Said adventure hasnt included paying off the police or even a tea ceremony so I dont know how fucked that makes me.

PS: I have sat in tea ceremony a few times over the years.
It's pretty interesting the first couple of times but I think tea bags are much better deal.
