This Time It Was A Real Body

Yomiuri: Man held over dumping body had no funeral cash
SHIZUOKA--A 59-year-old man was arrested Sunday on suspicion of abandoning the body of his 60-year-old wife near their home in Atami, Shizuoka Prefecture, police said. The police were contacted at about 12:30 p.m. Sunday by a caller saying a person's legs could be seen peeping out of a sheet-covered load being dragged by a man. After arriving near the place indicated by the caller, the police found the body of a woman wrapped inside the sheet and arrested Hiroshi Nakamura, an accessories dealer. The body found was that of Nakamura's wife, Aiko. During questioning, the suspect was quoted by the police as saying: "I found her dead at home around Saturday afternoon. I had no money for a funeral so I decided to bury her near our house."

I wonder how the police responded when they got the call? It was also in Shizuoka where they declared a murder only to discover it was a sex doll which had been dumped.
