A Yokohama man has been arrested for shooting a 16cm bolt from a bowgun at an 18 year old high school boy who was riding by on his bike. The bolt penetrated 4 cm into the boy's head but he didn't notice it and carried on his way home. When he arrived, his father drew his attention to the visible 12cm shaft and he went for treatment at a hospital. The arrested man say she didn't know the boy but fired because he was in a bad mood.

I was just trying to figure out how one manages to get a blowgun dart to embed itself 2 inches into a persons skull. Must have alot more power than I thought. It is actively not that uncommon. high velocity head trauma often results in mild memory loss or concussion. When I worked in the E.R. there was a guy who came in complaining of a headache. He had shot himself in the head with a 22 and the concussion caused him to forget.
