Boy Didn't Notice Arrow In His Head

Postby Mulboyne » Wed Feb 03, 2010 3:11 pm

A Yokohama man has been arrested for shooting a 16cm bolt from a bowgun at an 18 year old high school boy who was riding by on his bike. The bolt penetrated 4 cm into the boy's head but he didn't notice it and carried on his way home. When he arrived, his father drew his attention to the visible 12cm shaft and he went for treatment at a hospital. The arrested man say she didn't know the boy but fired because he was in a bad mood.

Holy Agincourt!
How the fu**k do you not notice you've been shot in the head with crossbow? I'm want some of whatever that kid had as a hangover cure (then again, I do quite like my current hangover cure, which is to just keep drinking...)

"Burp!" Hair, check my head to see if anything is sticking out. I'll mix the next round while you're looking...

Japanese attacks are so random. The only tick box must be "are they weaker looking than me?".

Two seconds before reading this story I was looking at this one:
A MUGGING victim who did not realise she was stabbed walked calmly home after the attack with a knife in her neck and a bloody back.

The Sun reported today that Julia Popova, 22, was knifed by a mugger on her way home from work in the Russian capital of Moscow.

Incredibly, she failed to notice the injury and, despite blood pouring from the wound above her shoulders, managed to calmly stroll to safety.

I was just trying to figure out how one manages to get a blowgun dart to embed itself 2 inches into a persons skull. Must have alot more power than I thought. The second thing that crossed my mind was, 'Aren't blowgun resricted or prohibited weapons?'. But apparently there is the Fukiya which I had never heard of until now.

It is actively not that uncommon. high velocity head trauma often results in mild memory loss or concussion. When I worked in the E.R. there was a guy who came in complaining of a headache. He had shot himself in the head with a 22 and the concussion caused him to forget.

Holy shit! I wish I could do that with regard to my marriage(s)...each of which, by the way, caused me plenty of high velocity head trauma.

I tried that for yuks once, but it just ricocheted off and took out the cat, which pissed the girlfriend off to the max. She started lighting blocks of charcoal by my futon every night after that.....

You mean coercive interrogation, in which the truth of the matter is irrelevant to most Japanese police?

Obviously haven't been married....there's only one type of head in marriage, and that's the one on top of your neck.
