It's an oxymoron. Teaching history in a Japanese classroom. BIG FREAKING JOKE. It's not history. It's revisionism. They cant even decide which version of lie they want to tell from decade to decade.

And it doesn't do you any good to talk about it with them... I mean, the goal is to provide the students with English sufficient enough to pass TOEFL and other certificate examinations, not teach them useful skills like debate and critical thinking.
