Salaryman props for kids

Daily Yomiuri:
Taisho Pharmaceutical Co. has developed a pep drink for children age 5 to 14. The mixed-fruit flavored Lipovitan Kodomo contains calcium, taurine and royal jelly to assist children's growth. Price: 210 yen (50 milliliter)

Obviously the Lipovitan junior, for 8-14 year olds (right), wasn't developing the habit early enough.

How can this be legal, let alone moral?
Consumption of GENKI-juice (with 10,000 times the Min. Daily Requirement of crytal meth) is listed on the required questionarie of the annual physical examination, the Ningen Dock, required of all Japanese drones. This Liquid Crack(tm) is listed in the same category as number of cigarettes and the amount of alcohol consumed daily.

TAURINE?!?!? That's a CAT FOOD additive, totally unnecessary for human diets.

I guess this stuff gets kids ready to move up to the Liquid Crack(tm)....sort the same concept as candy cigarettes (Japanese Orion brand).

Yeah, I was thinking about "smoking" candy and gum cigarettes when I was a kid. I was just wondering if there were still marketed here...damn.

Dingo,aAs for whether the brown bottle drinks will help you (a) remain healthy? No, probably not. (b) score some quick energy? Sure, though the amount of boost is probably inversely proportional to your caffeine and sugar tolerance level.

Try Oronomin-C, it:s the gold-standard...well if you:re a full size gaijin, try two, they are small bottles. :D

dingosatemybaby wrote:Yeah, the nicotine-in-energy-drink thing is one of the hoariest of Japanese urban legends

Thanks for clearing that up. I'd actually never heard before that "nicotine" was in energy drinks so it looks like I started my own version of that urban legend for 30 seconds.
