That's where you're dead wrong.
How can you assume that those who let these things take place knew well the last 4,000 years of human history when the majority of Japanese citizens don't even know what their own country did only 60 years ago!

If citizens of any country want to ensure their government doesn't become tyrannical, they should insist less on things like a right to bear arms and more on a right to an uncensored education.
