That's where you're dead wrong.

How can you assume that those who let these things take place knew well the last 4,000 years of human history when the majority of Japanese citizens don't even know what their own country did only 60 years ago!

And that's the point of the quote from Georges Santayana.

If citizens of any country want to ensure their government doesn't become tyrannical, they should insist less on things like a right to bear arms and more on a right to an uncensored education.

Wow this is interesting indeed, i'm glad i caught onto this thread.
So am i correct in assuming that all of us on this thread believe that this Nanking incident did infact happen, and what is debatable are details such as the numbers?

How about the supposed acts? This thread has inspired me to start reading the "rape of Nanking" so i'll have more info on this later.

A quick glimpse through the book reveals some pretty freaky shit. Things mentioned on previous posts regarding the torture and killings, is that shit debatable? or do most of us agree on it?

Needless to say, unfortunately atrocities happened in not only Nanking but also all over China.
I honestly recognize and reflect it.
But so-called "Nanking Massacre"( 300,000 had been killed by J-army for only about 6 weeks ~ 2 months) NEVER had happened.
This "incident" is no more than a political measure to pin down Japan politically.
World should watch EVIDENCE ITSELF WITHOUT EMOTION.

I would read this article first to get some context for what you might read elsewhere.

After all, the cause of this issue is that the number of atrocity in Nanjin was halfway.
If J-army had thoroyghly killed more in Nanjin like Nazi's holocaust, this Nanjin issue never be prolonged until today.

Ahh, are you going to the Philipino or filipina hostess bar? I got worn out with the futt Bucking on the other thread. I want to go to a bar where I'll have a reasonable chance of having instead of had!

If J-army killed at least 2~3 million in only Nanjin, postwar J-govenment and J-people hadn't must tried to excuse about the number of killed chinese in Nanjin and had must reflected Nanjin issue thoroughly and Chinese government could not had used Nanjin issue as a political measure to pin down Japan in international politics.
But in realliy it was impossible for J-army to do that because J-people's brain lacks the notion of annihilation like monotheism dudes have.

You really are twisted.

The only reason Japan never owned up is because the US didn't force it to in an effort to protect the existing power structure. I don't think it has anything to do with the number of people that Japan did or did not kill.

I think Takepoo's a troll. Or at least he hides behind some fake identity he has created.
