J-Rightists beat the rap!

Postby Taro Toporific » Wed Feb 12, 2003 12:18 pm

Not even Japan's newspaper giant, The Asahi Shimbun, could "find" these right-wing bombers. Sheesh.
CASE FILE NO. 116: 1 month to solve Sekihotai attacks
The statute of limitations runs out in one month for the last in a series of attacks against The Asahi Shimbun perpetrated by a group claiming to be punishing ``anti-Japanese'' elements.
The attacks against the daily, involving shootings and a bomb scare, took place in 1987 and 1988.
Police have until March 11 to arrest a suspect in the last incident-a time bomb that failed to detonate at the newspaper's Shizuoka Bureau.

It doesn't surprise me... But whoever did it obviously is scared. I mean as small as Japan is, surely they could at least come up with several suspects.

Speaking of the right, does anyone know what happened to that nutcase that murdered the prominent opposition politician last year? And what about the politician's Russian wife... was she forced to leave Japan? :?:
