I had to leave in the middle of that segment, but judging from what I saw, they've developed new, more efficient ways to haul away dead bodies, and that's about it.
Edit: I saw a rerun of the segment, I guess I saw almost all of it. But there was one additional thing they learned: how to have a paranoid freakout.
