The show was a big success! I don't know how much money was ultimately raised but they had already reached the 500,000 yen mark by the time I went home. I was proud to be a part of it. I played music and put 5,000 more in the donation box. It wasn't purely altruistic though. I wanted to brag about it on FG. We saved some lives!

Thanks to AK for starting this thread - the musicians and DJ's of Hiroshima (23 bands scheduled, 5 DJ's) managed to raise just over 400,000 yen for the victims of the tsunami. We were down at the Red Cross office tonight handing it over.

AK - you are a star, and me & Nat thank you & Colin as always, and all the musical crew who pulled together, and ESPECIALLY the GetHiroshima team without whose support we could never pull this kind of thing together so quickly.
