Kyodo via JapanToday: Shiseido eyes Guinness world record for number of TV commercials
Cosmetics maker Shiseido Co said Thursday it will try to set a Guinness world record Friday for the biggest number of television commercials cast in one day for a single product. Shiseido has produced 54 commercials employing 52 comedians for a new hair care product from the Uno brand for men, in a bid to break the present Guinness world record of 24 commercials.

Is it just me or doesn't this whole Enjoy CM campaign and the Comma-Saru begin to get a little tiring by now?
In my opinion Japanese TV commercials lack a great deal of creativity and deeper thinking. Usually it is just some celeb saying "Oishii". Wish it was that simple back home... Some American and European commercials can be entertaining, I just never saw a Japanese one that made me laugh OR want to try the product.
