
The "gaijin" in this show looks more Japanese than gaijin to me. He is Half -- his mother is Japanese. I haven't see the show, but was he chosen because he can speak Japanese? His is old enough to be her father too, he was born in '57. Good on him!

Kazue's comments regarding her English teachers and her co-stars is puzzling to me. I mean, if I mentioned someone I knew to any of you, and you had no idea who I was talking about, would that mean we couldn't communicate in English and there was a language gap, or simply that...you had no idea who I was talking about?
