Cyka UchuuJin wrote:don't even ask shit like this. under the table prescription meds are just as illegal in japan as it is anywhere else and you're retarded for even offering to send it to her.
go away.
canman wrote:Does your friend have ADD? If so why doesn't she go to a Japanese doctor and see what they could give her. As mentioned adderall is illegal in Japan, so she would have to use something else. Or does she just want the stuff to help her study longer or party or what?
It sounds way to risky to get involved in something like that, I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole.
canman wrote:Thanks man. I was watching HNC, and they were showing some of the old segments they used to run, and Peter Puck was one of them.
Back to the question at hand, I'm amazed the kind of things friends ask other people to do. "Hey could you smuggle drugs into a foreign country that really comes down hard on drug smugglers for me?" WTF! I agree with Cyka UchuuJin this is just a really stupid question to ask.

omae mona wrote:I have a hunch the OP did not realize how deeply illegal Adderall was in Japan. It is hard to believe that something routinely prescribed by doctors in the U.S. can land you in jail for 5 years in Japan (but it's true).
If it were simply a question of having versus not having a prescription, then one might expect worst case to be your drugs get confiscated. Maybe that's what the OP was thinking (just a guess).

Coligny wrote:That's all about having a medical prescription or not I think... Usually they are supposed to let you in with declared quantity needed for the duration of your stay as stated by the medical prescription. And in these case if it's refused I don't think it can be considered as drug smuggling but more as a refusal of permission to import without anything more than a confiscation as a result.

3 You'd get your stuff confiscated at the custom check.
4 Technically that would fall under refusal for import and not smuggling if everything was declared upfront.
5 These kind of 17y/o smartass comment are getting boring. You might want to try digg for a better reception of your wit.
