The what sisters?
There is NO WAY IN HELL you can attract that many people in one event.
Let's put things in perspective here.. the Aichi expo, which dwarfs these sisters by a million fold attracts on a mere average around 75 to 100,000 people a day. Having 800,000 people going through the JR Akihabara and the subway stations would be a huge chaos. Trust me, I went through that at JR Ichikawa station last Saturday to see the fireworks. On a conservative estimate, the Edogawa fireworks attracted 80,000 people (that was the figure from last year so you know they had more this year). The station was bloody fuckin' hell trying to get out and there was a HUGE long line of people all the way up to the train platform waiting to get through the ticket exit.

Yeah so I am sure there were only 80 people and not 800,000. Either an honest mistake or another garbage news by Mainichi MSN.

You can see from the other pictures that it was an in-store event so there is no "missing man" in the Japanese report.

"MDN: Toutou sisters eye stardom at Akihabara event
Takashi Saito, 44, a professor at Meiji University, announced that the momentary viewer rating for the song among junior high school students was 100 percent

Right.. where do they get these figures at.. up their asses?
Don't get me wrong, Meiji Univ is a highly accredited school but this guy needs to review his statistics or better yet learn how to count first.

I don't know even why this crap makes the news unless these people at Mainichi MSN are too lazy to pick up and report real worthy news. Or maybe Nippon is just so peaceful and uneventful to begin with.

MDN's English site has corrected the story in the orignal link
attracting some 80 people.

The case is now closed. We can all get back to work.
