MDN: 300 visitors flee smoke-filled 'Fire Magic Theater' at Aichi Expo
NAGOYA -- Some 300 visitors to the Gas Pavilion at the Aichi Expo fled from the venue after a fire broke out, filling the pavilion's "Fire Magic Theater" with smoke, officials said. A 28-year-old worker in the machinery equipment room on the second floor of the pavilion suffered light burns to his face in the fire, which occurred at about 10 a.m. on Tuesday...The Gas Pavilion, which is sponsored by the Japan Gas Association, was closed after the accident.
