Internet auctions for exhibits and equipment used in various country pavilions at the 2005 World Exposition in Aichi Prefecture began Thursday and will run for a month until the world fair closes Sept 25, organizers said. "It will be a pity if the exhibits were all thrown away as garbage, especially when this expo's theme is about protecting the environment," said a representative of Yahoo Japan Corp that runs the auction website.
