No such thing. Every place uses animal juice in some part of the cooking process.

...i remember meeting a girl for dinner in korakoen and had planned to go somewhere that do nice steaks and other forms of delicous murder; but she turned out to be a vegetarian: so after looking at the menus of half a dozen restaurants we ended up going to an italian place and she got a margarita pizza

in Japan i have found this to be true. If you just dont want a meal with meat then you will be fine, but if u want a meal with no meat or meat products such as stock you are shit out of luck.

I had a vegetarian once, but she smoked cigars. Not that good as I recall, I prefer the beast, cooked or raw. Nothing like chewing on a dead animal, keeps me from fasting.

Yes, there are plenty of places where you can find vegetarian food in Tokyo. However, if you are searching for a 100% Vegetarian place to eat meaning that the cooking oil should also be say, vegetable or sunflower oil and absolutely no ingredients which are even remotely related to animals then it is difficult to find such a place. There is one restaurant called Natraj in Ginza which is 100% vegetarian. It is a bit expensive as they import most of the foodstuff (except vegetables, I think) from India to be sure that there are no ingredients which have non-vegetarian traces. I think that even the cooking oil is vegetable oil. It is opposite matsuzakaya on chuo-dori or 3rd and 4th floors of a building.

There are other such places in Aoyama and Ogikubo as well but I can't remember the exact location.

There is a really good Indian vegetarian restaurant in Ogikubo. Near the station. Strictly vegetarian - even Ok for vegans - and yummy!

Why not just search for "vegetarian" on this board and bring up the old threads...
