My favorite FG and performing "talent" taranto monkey, David Spector, was rated LAST--- the least favorite commentor on the TBS (ch6) "Sunday Japon." At 10:45 this morning (Jan 19) on this popular week-in-review program most of the jokes were that none of the other Japanese commentators wanted to rated lower than him----and surprise, the FG was rated last.

Dont you just love the way the Spector always points out the mistakes when the Jap anouncers cant read the Kanji?

There's no two ways about it: Dave is runt, even though I have to claim him as my homeboy from the Chicago Northside.

I had to look up tall poppy syndrome which is interesting. I would view him more a chip-on-the-shoulder "Runt Poppy" type. :P

A few years ago, I've popped Spector on the shoulder saying "HI" to him at SHibuya 109 and he flew back a couple of meters. Then I patted him on the head and told him he ought to eat something else besides rice so he could grow a bit. His blond-dyed BIG hair held firm. It's as real as blond hair can be on a Jewish guy. It's his blue contact lens in his brown eyes and shoulder pads in his undershirt that are fake.
