English tutor service crash costs students millions
MSN-Mainichi Daily News: November 2, 2005
Operators of a service that dispatches English tutors to homes across Japan have declared bankruptcy and will not return 840 million yen in fees that they have already accepted, it was learned Wednesday. Some students of the failed Aube Education System and Educare System have already started forming groups aimed at trying to recover money they have paid to the companies that operated the Bim Bam Boom Club English tutor service....more...

I read recently that like 700 schools go bankrupt in japan every year.
everyone thinks english schools are easy.
