W O W

Postby American Oyaji » Wed Nov 20, 2002 8:10 pm

You really are an old hand IN Japan

I remember using tape drives.

But I was using a pre Commodore 64 machine. I forget the model, but it was all in one and was white and the screen was monochrome green.

It had cards with programs on them and they had to be typed in one line at a time and then saved onto the tape drive.

I used to think that was so cool.
I will not abide ignorant intolerance just for the sake of getting along.

Not the PET? Remember the good old VIC-20? Welcome To Commodore Museum or visit the Commodore gallery.

I remember going into Maruzen (yes, Maruzen the book store) in Nihonbashi to see the PET on display. That was the *only* place that had them. Akihabara sold washing machines and radios.

It was 1,000,000 yen - yes folks you read it right - one million yen.

I actually thought about buying it.

MY OWN PERSONAL COMPUTER. Oh wow

At that time I never told anybody about PC's because everybody had the same standard comeback line

'but what would I use one for'

Truthfully I really didn't have an answer (but I reeeeeeally wanted one)

Yikes! Let's pre-Bubble Paleolithic!

Back in my Jomon Dayz, I used a Canon AS-100 to carve the stone tabets with the English documentation for the "Canobrain (tm)" integrated spreadsheet, database, and graphics program. It had 4, count 'em, four 8-inch floppy drives to hold all my stone tablets of computer commandents.

Get that EngRish name: CAN-o-BRAIN!

One of the secretaries in my office uses a machine that looks remarkably like that. It can only display one quarter of a normal web page.

As in Can-o-Peas?

or perhaps it's:

Can your Brain?
Maybe, can yours?

or perhaps it's

Can your Brain!
Oh I already did that when I arrived.

And naturally Cano brame me when you lose all your text because the floppy Cano work.

Denny's coffee will never be the same

Postby Steve Bildermann » Wed May 21, 2003 3:35 pm

This young lady (and I do mean young) sat four rows down from me while I had my morning coffee.

She and her friend whilst in deep conversation spend the entire 45 minutes I was there holding, stroking, twisting, turning and well er yes massaging what I can only describe as a long thick object of unknown origin. What it was I will probably never know but BY GOD WAS IT WAS EROTIC. I like to think of myself as a pretty PC kind of guy but sometimes dem hormones just get the better of ya!

Long thick object at rest 8O

my friend owns a copy of fruits.... it's pretty awesome, some really funny shots. but i wouldn't pay for it, it's too expensive... but it should be available at most major bookstores like B&N, that's where we found it...

by the way, none of those photos on phototokyo.com are from fruits... ??
