ColecoVision Adam

Postby james » Tue Nov 08, 2005 1:35 pm

i have in my possession here in the bustling metropolis of okuizumo, shimane what are, as far as i know, the only two ColecoVision Adam computers in japan. if anyone knows otherwise, i'd be interested in hearing.

in any case, i've recently been doing a massive cleanup and this is one too many adams. if anyone is interested they are welcome to it. it was functioning as of yesterday and i've modded the power hookup so that you don't need the big ugly printer that was part of the system to power it up. dig up an old pc power supply and just hook up the 12v, 5v, ground and -5v lines and it'll work fine. it's got a video composite out so you don't need a 1980s tv to hook it up to. if you get the atari expander i've got extra atari carts too. (no extra expander, sorry). it is also possible to backup colecovision cartridges to the adam tapes and play them from that.

i've got some software that i can include with it including a typing tutro and a really good version of the logo programming language that is really good for kids.

anyone interested?

Atari 2600 was my introduction to gaming, and shoplifting now that I think of it.. Empire Strikes Back was a fun game.
