CattleNetwork.com: Food Safety & Traceability
If you ever visited to Japan, you might be recommended to go to the Tokyo Fish Market (Tsukiji Market) no matter you like Sushi or not. Japanese fishery industry seems to feel that they are a decade behind in term of food safety and traceability. They newly established NPO a couple of month ago who promotes fishery safety and traceability along with international standard. They will have a huge seminar end of this month (Nov 29th) at Tsukiji Market gathering over 200 interested people and organizations. A piece of Sushi may have an ID number in years.
