Fox: Ashlee Simpson Collapses After Tokyo Performance
AP — Singer Ashlee Simpson has been hospitalized after collapsing Thursday night following a performance in Tokyo. US Weekly reports that Simpson had just performed her single "Boyfriend" for MTV in Japan when she told the audience she felt sick. She then collapsed in an elevator and was rushed by ambulance to a hospital.

Singer Ashlee Simpson was terrified when she collapsed after a concert in Japan, because she awoke in a blood-splattered emergency room. The Pieces Of Me singer was promoting her album Autobiography and her hectic schedule eventually caught up with her. She says, "I finished my US tour and went straight to Japan." Simpson explains, "I didn't go to a nice emergency room - I ended up in one with blood on the walls. Nasty...I was dehydrated. I had bronchitis. Who knows exactly what it was?
