I have finally arrived in Japan and I have F*cked Gaijin to thank for it! Thanks guys!!! I arrived on Oct. 26, 2005 from Long Island, New York. There is a lot of snow here but, I lived in Connecticut for 7 years, so it is nothing new to me. I can't wait to snowboard.

Been there done that in Connecticut, it used to get that cold a couple times a year. I didn't mind it so much, but my dog would walk about 20 meters and beg me to pick her up. She is a short haired mutt, not built for cold. I don't understand the Kanji; you are in hell, but where in hell?

The buddhist hells are fascinating. There are cold hells and hot hells, and a hell for about every purpose. Right now, after a week of subzero temps, a hot hell sounds like a refreshing change of pace.

so i'm told this is the worst snowfall in this area in close to 50 years and we're just getting started. they've forecast for another 80 cm for tonight and it's coming down pretty hard. i'm running out of space to put all this crap.

being from ottawa i'm no stranger to snow and cold but damn, this is a shitload of the stuff..
