DVD Multi-Region For PC

Does anyone know how exactly you can lock the DVD multi-region option on a PC DVD rom drive? I switched it to region code 3 (singapore) and now I can switch it only 3 more times. Is there a software out there or a BIOS hack? I am really no expert in this field and I hope you guys don't consider this as the warez realm.

BTW, I have the MATSHITA UJ-822Da drive.
