I don't want to offend the "oh, this is so cute" fans of this story, but since reptiles tend to be docile during the winter and it will be spring in another month or two, I'll lay you five to two that Gohan is Gohan by Gogatsu!

I suspect that either Gohan will suddenly disappear some afternoon, or that he'll take a liking to snake meat and the snake will be removed after the rodent gnaws several large chunks off its head.

Now the real news story I want to read would be that the snake knocks up the hamster.

I just like their little cardboard enclosure. The only thing missing is a stick and a leaf to recreate their natural environment.
