I popped along to this exhibition yesterday. It's worth a look and runs until the 1st of July. The Teien Museum is a particularly apt place: it's an art deco building commissioned by Prince Asaka (he of the Nanjing Massacre) and one of the pictures featured is based on a photograph taken in one of the rooms. It is small, however, so not all the exhibits from Honolulu are on display. The image below of actress Takako Irie is one of the iconic pictures and it seems like it is the first time it has been on public display here for 75 years.
