J-husbands "unimportant"; Survey

Postby Taro Toporific » Fri Feb 07, 2003 1:21 pm

The number of housewives citing their husbands as the most important aspect of life dropped drastically after the 10th year of marriage, according to a survey of housewivesin the Tokyo area released Thursday by Yakult Honsha Co.

Among housewives married less than 10 years, 70.3% thought their children were the most important factors in life while 52.4% chose husbands. But housewives choosing husbands dropped to 32.3% for those married between 10 and 20 years and further decreased to 30.4% for those married over 20 years.

I wonder why they never asked about J-wives. I wonder if the statistics would be the same, I doubt it.

Is it the surveyers or the housewives who have a problem with addition?

Just how many "most important factors" can one choose?
